WATCH: Peat & Deisel get behind a 500-mile cycle for Maggie's Highland with rib-tickling video to lend a hand

Rockers Peat & Diesel have shared a hilarious video as they back a fundraising campaign for Maggie's Highland.

Featuring lead singer Calum “Boydie” MacLeod's race to the finish line ahead of fellow band members Innes Scott and Uilly Macleod.

Supporting Black Isle frontman Kenny Smith, of fellow band Torridon, the band members made the video to send the cyclists some moral support and to help raise money for cancer charity Maggie's Highland.

Featuring some of the band's tunes, as well as officers from Stronoway's finest, they said: "Maggie's Highlands needs your help! And so does Kenny Smith from Torridon along with the rest of the Manky Mob.

"They are doing the Maggies Cycle 500 and have given it 100 per cent effort, so we decided to give them a bit of encouragement by making this video.

They joked: "FYI - nobody was hurt during the production of this video...ain’t that right Boydie?"
