Hairdressers, barber shops, homeware outlets and garden centres reopened yesterday in Inverness.

With Covid–19 restrictions partially easing, Inverness Courier's photographer and film maker Callum Mackay, made a video of the city getting back to life.

While socially distanced queues appeared outside barber shops, with people travelling from as far as Glen Urquhart to remove their lockdown locks, the video shows the precautions that are in place around the city centre.

It also shows that Simpsons Garden Centre has reopened, with shoppers able to enjoy one of its "famous" scones while picking up bedding plants for the garden.
