A HUGE demand for stalls has resulted in spaces at an Invergordon outdoor market selling out weeks in advance.

Invergordon Development Trust says anyone who has applied for a stall for the September 26 event will be added to a waiting list.

This follows the success of the first event staged after the coronavirus lockdown last month.

It was well received by members of the public and a number of stallholders reported selling out of stock.

The group said: “The demand for both produce and craft stalls has been huge and as much as we would love to, we simply can’t accommodate every one, every time - we understand that this will be disappointing to potential stall holders but every decision has been made with the best intention for a sustainable, good quality, varied and exciting market that people will be delighted to attend time and again.”

The last market at the Natal Garden saw some of the stallholders sell out of all their stock.
