FIREWORKS will delight crowds in a Black Isle village again this November after details emerged of plans for its bonfire display.

Cromarty’s annual festivities will be held on the Links on Friday, November 1 from 6pm. The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm, followed by piping from youngster Oran Silverside, with the fireworks taking place at 7pm.

Hot food will be provided by Sutor Creek and mulled wine, hot chocolate and home baking by Cromarty Primary Parent Council.

"[There is] plenty of parking in the surrounding streets, come and enjoy this family-friendly event," said a spokesman.

There will be donation buckets on the night and contributions are welcome.

"Thanks to funding assistance from Global Energy, Cromarty Brewing Company, Calico UK, Slaughterhouse Coffee, Highland Stoves and many other local businesses," added the spokesman.
