The cat apparently went missing after his home was broken into.

Easter Ross Vtst published an appeal and pictures of the cat – named Ollie – on its Facebook page.

"Ollie went missing this morning from Alness High Street after his home was broken into," they said.

"If you see him could you please contact the Alness branch on 01349 884777."
