Vandalised car triggers Easter Ross police appeal for witnesses; Volkswagen Polo was vandalised in Invergordon

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a car was vandalised in the Invergordon area.

The Volkswagen Polo was parked on Park Lane and the vandalism is believed to have happened between 11.15pm on Saturday, November 30 and 2.10pm on Sunday, December 1.

PC Fiona MacKintosh, from Alness Police Station, said: “We’re looking for anyone who was in the area and may have seen the vandalism take place or have seen something which may have appeared suspicious.”

Police did not disclose the extent of the damage in their appeal for help.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101, quoting incident 2282 of December 1. Alternatively anonymous tip-offs can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
