Dingwall police hunt vandals after a number of incidents in the Meiklefield Road area of the town – a man was spotted acting suspiciously and using a torch in a garden

Police are appealing for information about a number of cases of vandalism in Dingwall.

Officers from Police Scotland's Highland and Islands Police Division are investigating the incidents which were at an address in the Meiklefield Road area of the town.

A spokesman said: "The most recent incident occurred about 10pm on Monday during which a male was seen acting suspiciously and using a torch within a garden area."
