Traffic Scotland have confirmed that no serious injuries have been reported after a two-vehicle collision at Skiach services near Evanton this morning.

The northbound lane of the A9 is currently closed due after an alert was raised at 8.47am this morning.

Traffic is now being diverted via Alness.

Paramedics and police were called to the scene, but no serious injuries have been reported.

A statement from Traffic Scotland said: “The A9 at Skiach services northbound is currently closed, due to a road traffic collision. Road users are advised to use and alternate route.

“There have been no serious injuries sustained and recovery for the vehicles has been arranged. Police are diverting northbound traffic through Alness.”
