Police had appealed for information on the where4abouts of Zara Cross

A Highland teenager reported missing yesterday morning has been found safe and well.

Police confirmed late last night that 13-year-old Zara Cross, who had not been seen since Monday at 8.15am, had been located unharmed.

She had last been seen in the Boarstone Avenue area of Inverness and concern prompted police to appeal to the public to come forward with information that could assist help them find.

A statement from Police Scotland reads: “Zara Cross, reported missing from Inverness has been traced safe and well.

“Thank you to everyone who shared and responded to our appeal.”
