UPDATE: High Street reopened after alleyway blaze in Dingwall, police confirm

Dingwall High Street has been reopened, police have confirmed, after a fire in an alleyway earlier this morning.

Police were called to assist appliances from Scottish Fire & Rescue Service (SFRS) at 6.15am this morning after the blaze broke out.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “High Street in Dingwall has reopened following a fire within an alleyway that was reported to police around 6.15am on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

“Officers remain in attendance assisting Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

“Members of the public are thanked for their patience.”
