Northbound and southbound lanes of the A9 at Tain have reopened following a three-vehicle crash earlier today.

Both lanes were closed to traffic after a collision reported shortly after 1pm.

A spokesperson for Traffic Scotland said: “Road is now open and traffic has resumed in both directions after earlier incident.”

Police Scotland have confirmed that nobody was seriously injured in the accident.
