VOLUNTEERS who helped a Wester Ross village say it with flowers have been thanked for their efforts making it an attractive place for visitors and locals alike.

The group Welcome Ullapool has thanked those involved in a local hanging baskets effort – with a number of appreciative members of the public adding their praise for the floral delights.

The group posted: "Many thanks to Angus MacPherson and Mike Turner for taking down the village hanging baskets. They’ve provided a beautiful colourful display this year and survived the usual four seasons of weather."

Margaret Storey added: "Well done. Lovely to see you looking after your beautiful town."

"They were a lovely display to see when we were visiting earlier this year,"

added Janice Japp.

Elizabeth Torrence stated: "They were beautiful when I was up."

And Melanie Nolan said: "They were lovely, thank you to all who helped to provide them."

Welcome Ullapool is a group representing the village and surrounding area, which is a popular visitor destination and gateway to Hebrides. Its goal is to promote the area and help the village to thrive.
