Ullapool men appear in private on assault and weapon charges

Two Ullapool men appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday and were remanded in custody.

Oliver Humphreys (33) made no plea to two charges of assault, an offence under the Communications Act and possession of a weapon.

His co-accused, 41-year-old Scott Lesbirel, also made no plea to charges of assault to injury and permanent disfigurement, an offence under the Communications Act and possession of a weapon.

Both were committed for further examination and will re-appear within eight days.
