Media students will have their work on the silver screen next week as part of a showcase screening at Eden Court.

A selection of short fiction and non-fiction films will be shown at the La Scala cinema in what is being described as a "celebration of new and emerging visual storytellers" from the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI).

Guests from the industry will also be present to give feedback to those on the BA (Hons) contemporary film making course.

The event, on Tuesday May 31, is free but donations can be made to the student development fund.

Due to the content, attendees must be over 18 years old.

Bookings can be made here.
