Trains between Inverness and Wick could face delays this morning as Highland temperatures drop
Train passengers travelling on the Far North Line could face disruption today due to icy conditions between Inverness and Lairg.
ScotRail’s website states that trains may be delayed of revised this morning because of a speed restriction prompted by severe weather.
This comes as the Met Office issued a yellow warning for ice warning yesterday, which will affect the Highlands, Moray and Aberdeenshire this morning.
Disruption is expected to last until around 11am today (23 December).
