Traffic warning ahead of Rosemarkie fireworks
Rosemarkie’s bonfire and fireworks display will be held this Saturday.
The extremely popular event kicks off in the Black Isle village at 6pm with burgers, hot dogs, soup and drinks available in front of the beach cafe along with LED swords and headbands to add to the colourful display.
Sales will be cash only on the night.
The fireworks themselves will start between 6.30pm and 7pm.

Anyone planning to attend is encouraged to walk to the event as parking will be limited, with restrictions in place.
A post on the Rosemarkie Amenities Association (RAA) and Beach Cafe Facebook page details: “There is now a formal one way system in Rosemarkie down Mill Road ,along part of Marine Terrace to Hawkhill Road.
“We will have signs out elsewhere as a guide and as usual cone off the High Street to allow through traffic to run unimpeded.
“Please be aware of the yellow lines and the work which has been done to protect the verge and path along Marine Terrace..
“We ask you to be considerate when parking and respect our residents.”
In addition to that original message they added: “Rosemarkie is a small place with limited parking and RAA does not have the authority to close roads.
“Please, as mentioned in our post, consider using public transport or walking.
“Mill Road car park fills up very quickly. Alternative parking is available at both Rosemarkie & Fortrose Caravan Sites.
“Where possible, we ask that you leave parking spaces on Marine Terrace (between Mill Rd and Hawkhill Rd) for those less able to walk.
“Do not park in or across residents driveways, they need access at all times.”
