Tartan Week Lochcarron surprises in store during week-long Wester Ross initiative





AN invitation has gone out to the surrounding Lochcarron community to get involved in an annual festival celebrating all-things tartan.

Tartan Week Lochcarron, running from Friday, September 26 to Sunday, October 5, brings the community together through arts, music, history and local crafts.

Talented local artist Vik Stonebridge is offering a number workshops including papermaking, kids comic drawing and pottery making.

A spokesperson for the initiative said: “Come and join in the fun. We have an arts and open studios trail, various workshops and art classes – including The Big Draw for children - exhibitions and other events.”
