AN Easter Ross youth cafe is staging its lunch club grab and go for young people today regardless of the chilly conditions.

Tain and District Youth Cafe YMCA said: "We are so excited to be back with lunch club grab & go today – even if it is snowing!"

The scheme operates between noon and 1pm at Tain, the village green in Fearn and the scout hut at Balintore.

Every child also receives a lunch bag with juice, crisps, biscuit and fruit.

These are provided free for each young person.

The youth cafe team added: "We do ask that you comply with social distancing at all times. Enjoy your lunches everyone!"

The cafe posted: "In Tain today is Kats with ham, cheese or jam sandwiches, sausage rolls or hot dogs.

"In Fearn is Nicola with ham, cheese or jam sandwiches or sausage rolls.

"In Balintore is Coral also with ham, jam or cheese sandwiches or sausage rolls."
