Belladrum unveils host of new names to 2025 festival line-up, including Supergrass, Tom Walker, Natasha Bedingfield, CMAT, Doctor Who star Peter Capaldi and Gok Wan
Big name acts Supergrass, Tom Walker, Natasha Bedingfield, CMAT and more have been added to Belladrum’s line-up this summer.
The Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, which this year takes place over the weekend of July 31 to August 2, already had a number of big names confirmed - including Texas and Paul Heaton of Beautiful South fame.
But it has now ratcheted up music fans’ excitement further with the addition today of a raft of other top acts.
Britpop icons Supergrass are the final headliner confirmed for this year’s festival - the popular event’s 21st - joining the already mentioned Texas and Paul Heaton ft Rianne Downey.
Celebrating 30 years of their debut album, ‘I Should Coco’, Supergrass will be performing the album in full, alongside a selection of their greatest hits, promising an unforgettable festival moment.
Also joining the bill, and making his Belladrum debut, is Tom Walker, the Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter known for his emotional chart-topping hits Leave a Light On and Just You and I, with global streams passing over three billion, and over two million album sales to date.
Another exciting addition is Natasha Bedingfield, the multi-platinum selling pop sensation behind global anthems such as Unwritten and These Words. Her uplifting songs and performances have made her a favourite across generations, making her a perfect Belladrum booking .
Fresh from a standout performance on Jools Holland’s annual Hootenanny, Irish sensation CMAT will bring her genre-blending style to the Belladrum stage. Her second album, ‘Crazymad, For Me’ released in 2023 was nominated for a Brit award and an Ivor Novello and shortlisted for the Mercury Prize. Her mix of country, pop, and indie influences have garnered critical acclaim and a rapidly growing fanbase.
Adding to the festival’s ever-diverse line-up are also Scottish folk royalty Skippinish, style icon and DJ Gok Wan, singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin, known for hits such as The Power of Love, Highland’s own breakthrough artist Katie-Gregson Macleod, and Juno award winning Canadian folk band The East Pointers.
In a fitting addition to the ‘Bella Goes to the Moo-vies’ theme for 2025, Scottish legend and actor Peter Capaldi of Doctor Who, Thick of It and Local Hero fame will perform with his band.
These artists join an already stellar lineup, including, Example, Tide Lines, Pigeon Detectives, Karine Polwart, Belluga Lagoon, The Hoosiers, Kassidy and many more.
The line up also includes a wealth of Highlands and Scottish artists such as Torridon, The Laurettes, Fourth Daughter, Rhythmnreel, The Dangleberries, Dylan James Tierney, Jojhn Harad Rowan, John B’s Daughter, and many more among the 100+ artist strong line-up.
“We can’t wait to roll out the red carpet and welcome our wonderful Belladrum family, whether here for a sequel or making their debut appearance, we look forward to everyone playing their starring role,” said show organiser, Dougie Brown. “We are proud to have pulled together another eclectic line-up with a house hold names and rising stars to entertain the whole family.”
