Dingwall and District Choral Society members have begun rehearsals for their Winter concert in the Strathpeffer Pavilion at the beginning of December 2019. This year they will be singing a new choral piece which was commissioned in collaboration with well-known Ross-shire storyteller Bob Pegg and composer Chris Hutchings.

The piece is entitled Songs from Strath Gardens and features five short songs relating to the five carved statues inspired by local history and legends which stand in the Strathpeffer Pavilion Gardens.

These statues were carved by Allister Brebner.

The choir would love to welcome new members to join the choir in this venture. Rehearsals are every Thursday during school term 7.30 to 9.30 in Castle Street Church Hall Dingwall.
