Road closure planned for route beneath Kessock Bridge.

Drivers are being warned that a city centre link road under the Kessock Bridge will be closed overnight from tomorrow evening.

The temporary closure on Stadium Road, between the Longman Drive junction and the A9 Edinburgh-Stirling to Thurso trunk road, will be in place from 8 pm on Tuesday (March 2) to 5 am on Wednesday (March 3).

Highland Council says the closure is required to enable a contractor, working on behalf of Bear (Scotland) Ltd, to progress with painting work on the Kessock Bridge.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles employed to carry out the works.

Alternative routes to by-pass the closure will be signposted.
