Two Black Isle libraries won't let Covid-19 put a dampener on their traditional Harry Potter Book Night.

Fortrose Library said: "While we can't welcome you in to the libraries at Fortrose and Cromarty this year, don't think we won't be offering some super fun activities for you to take part in!

"Call out to wizards, witches and magical creatures. As we are unable to hold our usual event we will be sending you on a magical scavenger hunt around our local villages – perfect for intrepid wizards and muggles of all ages.

"Watch this space!"

The event is planned for June 24.

The libraries have traditionally staged very popular themed events for fans of the blockbusting JK Rowling series.
