Speed limit to be temporarily set at 30mph on road in Highland capital

Highland Council is advising motorists of a temporary 30 mph speed limit between Raigmore Interchange and Millburn Road.
Highland Council is advising motorists of a temporary 30 mph speed limit between Raigmore Interchange and Millburn Road.

Motorists are being advised a temporary 30 mph speed limit will be introduced along a main Inverness road from midnight.

It will apply on the B865 on Millburn Road, Academy Street and Chapel Street from its junction with the Raigmore Interchange on the A9.

It will remain in force until 11.59pm on Tuesday, December 22.

Highland Council said it ties in with the implementation of a similar speed limit change on the Raigmore Interchange by Transport Scotland.
