SNOW has resulted in the postponement of an Easter play scheme in Alness.

The Place youth group has set up a programme of activities at The Field, an area it successfully developed to allow its work to continue outdoors, for the Easter holidays.

However today's session was cancelled because of the weather.

It said: "Due to the snow lying overnight, Easter Playscheme and our workshops at The Field today are both cancelled.

"Our staff will be meeting later on today to discuss the plans for the rest of the week.

"Lunches will still be provided outside the Milnafua hall today at 12pm so come along and get yourself a hot meal.

"Keep an eye out on our page for updates regarding our programmes in the coming days!"
