SLIPPERY conditions and untreated roads have combined to affect a number of bus routes to school in Ross-shire this morning.

D&E Coaches said: "It’s very slippery out and about today, therefore some services have been affected.

"Knockbain to Fortrose Academy and Easter Suddie to Munlochy Primary will not be operating today due to untreated road conditions."

In a later update, it said that due to road conditions, the Heights to Strathpeffer Primary bus would be running approximately 10 minutes late this morning.

The Balvaird to Muir of Ord Dingwall Academy feeder bus was also not operating this morning "due to untreated road conditions".

The Tarradale Primary school bus did not pick up at The Kennels and did not operate via the Corrie and Ardnagrask for the same reasons.

And it also reported that Scardroy to Dingwall Academy will not operate via Fairburn due to the untreated road conditions.
