Dingwall ‘shop local’ invite to St Clements Church pop-up event





A POP-UP event in Ross-shire’s county town this weekend is encouraging people to support the ‘shop local’ ethos in the run-up to the festive season.

A ‘destash’ table run by Ross-shire & Sutherland Federation SWI aims to inspire potential winter night projects with a wide range of materials available.

It takes place on Saturday, November 16 at St Clements Church Hall in Dingwall from 11am until 3pm.

Lynn Winpenny Art, Catrin Mary Makes, Anne Sutherland Jewellery and KindNess Glass will all have stalls at the event with some unique hand-crafted items aimed at wooing discerning Christmas shoppers.

A St Clements Church pop up shop will also be openon the day with what is described as “an Aladdin’s cave of gifts and bags at a budget to suit all”. It will be manned by Kathryn Dempsey on the day.
