Police warn dog owners after further incidents of sheep worrying; latest reports were in Wester Ross in the Lochcarron and Strome area

SHEEP worrying in the Lochcarron and Strome area has sparked a police plea for dog owners to act more responsibly.

Police said they wanted to remind dog owners "that a dog attacking, chasing or even being at large in field where sheep are kept can lead to injury and often leads to the sheep being killed/destroyed and dog owner being charged".

"Act responsibly," they added.
