The verdict: “A much larger show of spring lambs forward were slightly dearer on the week, however making them super heavy is definitely advantageous to one’s pocket. The standard weights are grossing the same as the heavies. Hogg trade continues to amaze us as the job was firmer once again. Standard and export weights were privy to the largest increase in values today and many more could have easily been sold. The bonanza trade theme in the prime sheep ring today continued to the ewe section as all classes were dearer on the week for more numbers sold.”
