Muir of Ord gets its countdown to Christmas started with arrival of festive tree

RESIDENTS of and visitors to a Ross-shire village are being helped to get into the festive spirit after the arrival of a magnificent Christmas tree.

Muir of Ord Community Council posted: "It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

"The tree is up, many thanks to the usual suspects for this and lighting it up and to Black Isle Christmas Trees."

Its cheerful presence has been warmly welcomed locally.

Wendy Coates wrote: "Looks lovely. Know the exact spot where tree stands. Hope to stand on the spot 2021."

Hazel Fraser said: "Looks fantastic – thank you."
