The school still has some cover in place but plans opening to all year groups tomorrow.

A BLACK Isle secondary which had been partly closed to certain year groups because of a lack of teacher cover will open fully tomorrow.

Fortrose Academy had been monitoring the situation over the weekend after last week asking S1 and S2 year groups to remain at home because of difficulty covering staff absences.

The Black Isle school today posted it will open to all year groups on Monday.

It said: "There are still a number of staff absent, so some cover arrangements are still in place.

"Pupils are reminded of the importance of hand (sanitizer) and respiratory hygiene - coughs/sneezes into tissues. Face coverings are of course still required inside the building unless exempt – noses and mouths to be covered."
