Kyle Medical Practice in Lochalsh issues Covid-19 vaccine update for patients

A ROSS-SHIRE medical practice is asking patience of its patients as it awaits Covid-19 vaccine.

The Kyle Medical Practice said today in a post on its social media pages that it goes not yet have any vaccine.

It said: "Once we do, we will contacting our patients who are over 80 years old first to get them vaccinated.

"The roll out of vaccines will be slow initially but we have been told will pick up at the end of January."

The practice is amongst many asking patients who have face to face appointments to change to a telephone appointment in line with Scottish Government restrictions aimed at curbing the transmission of the virus.
