Stagecoach bus services running from Tain to parts of Ross-shire and Sutherland including Brora, Inverness and the seaboard villages of Shandwick, Balintore and Hilton hit by snow

Bus services parts of Ross-shire and Sutherland are facing delays and cancellations today after fresh overnight snowfalls.

Stagecoach this morning cancelled the Tain to Brora X25 service at 05:25 and the Tain to Inverness 25A service to Inverness at 05:05.

The firm also announced that while some services were running, they would be unable to service the Seaboard villages of Shandwick, Balintore and Hilton in Easter Ross.

All passengers are advised to check with operators before seeking to travel, with further updates expected through the morning.
