AN Easter Ross primary school has sent out an appeal to parents and well-wishers for a variety of items ranging from old pots and pans to tractor tyres.

Hilton of Cadboll Primary School is looking to further develop an outdoor learning space it has been working on.

The school is keen that parents don't buy any of the requested items but just offer them if they are looking to get rid of them or can source free of charge. It says anything which is donated will be "quarantined" for 72 hours before use.

It's wish list includes: guttering/pipes; old pots/pans/utensils; planks of wood; pallets; tractor tyres; small and medium-sized cable reels; traffic cones; ride on bikes/vehicles; any outdoor toys that will survive outdoor conditions; sand equipment such as spades, rakes, small buckets; bunting; watering cans; shower curtains; a steering wheel; wooden stumps to sit on and wooden crates.
