Road near Tain to close for 'emergency repairs', announces Highland Council

EMERGENCY repairs will close a road near Tain next week.

A section of the C1012 Scotsburn Road will be closed from 7.30am to 6pm next Tuesday (May 4) to enable the vital repairs to be carried out on a damaged part of the route.

"There will be a signed diversion route in place using the U1884 Rosemount - Glen Aldie Road – C1059 Grantfield - Heathmount –Tain Road - U1890 Lamington Quarry Road and the U1891 Brenachie - Lamington Road," said a Highland Council spokesman.

"There will be no access for emergency vehicles or pedestrians through the closed section of road."
