EASTER Ross MSP Jamie Stone has backed a campaign calling for better rehabilitation services in the constituency.

The Right to Rehab campaign calls for equal access to community rehabilitation.

The Lib Dem MP for Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross led a Bill to ringfence funding for mental health support for veterans, military personnel, and their families earlier this week.

He says the Right to Rehab campaign represents another effort to put access to health services at the top of the parliamentary agenda.

He said: "Many of us in the Far North struggle to access basic medical services, let alone vital rehabilitation services for those suffering with long-term conditions.

“The NHS must modernise to provide equal access to community rehabilitation services. I fully support the Right to Rehab campaign. Equal access to community rehabilitation is vital.”
