DRIVERS and residents in Dingwall are being warned that a town centre street will be closed for much of Thursday for resurfacing work.

Highland Council has advised the public that Tulloch Street will be closed between Mart Road and High Street from 8am to 5pm tomorrow.

"The temporary closure is to allow contractors to carry out resurfacing works," it confirmed.

"Pedestrian access for businesses and shops will be maintained at all times."

A diversion will be in place via Church Street, Mart Road, Newton Road, Greenhill Street and Hill Street.
