Portmahomack road set for 11-day closure for resurfacing works

A PORTMAHOMACK road is set to close for 11 days next month to allow for resurfacing works to take place.

The U1404 Tarbet Manse to Rockfield Road in Portmahomack will be closed from its entrance, to a property known as Antalla, spanning approximately 420m in a northerly direction.

The road closure will take place from 8am on November 17 to 5pm on November 28.

Announcing the road works, the Highland Council said: “The closure is to ensure resurfacing works can be undertaken safely. There are no alternative routes available, but access for emergency vehicles, local residents and pedestrians will be maintained.”
