The Port of Cromarty Firth is to host its first-ever online annual public meeting later this month.

Traditionally held in person, the decision has been made to take the meeting online as a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and to comply with current social distancing measures.

The sign-up process is designed to be quick and easy, and access and dial-in details will be sent out to all who register shortly before the event.

Port of Cromarty Firth chief executive Bob Buskie said: “We are once again looking forward to holding our annual public meeting – albeit in unfamiliar circumstances. We felt that it was vital to ensure that the opportunity for members of the public to attend remained and we are excited to take bring the meeting online and into the digital age.

"The evening will provide a fantastic chance to learn about the inner workings of the Port, and we are looking forward to welcoming as many people as possible to the event.”

The views of residents and stakeholders are being welcomed and anyone interested in participating is urged to sign-up via the Eventbrite registration link: Port of Cromarty Firth – Virtual Annual Public Meeting 2020 .
