THE staff at Applecross Inn have closed until 2022, after several staff have tested positively for Covid.
In a message to it followers on social media, staff said they knew it would cause disappointment.

The message reads: "We are very sorry to say that we now have several positive cases amongst our staff who will now need to isolate for 10 days this leaves us with no alternative but to close for a longer period , we hope that we can reopen as planned on January 5.

"It will cause much disappointment to many we are so very sorry , but better to be safe."

It added: "The Inn remains empty but looking forward to seeing you all in 2022."
