Poolewe in the market to support local business with two days of festive events at village hall lined up

A WESTER Ross community will be getting into the spirit of the festive season early with two days of Christmas markets.

The Poolewe festive events will be staged in the village hall and start on Friday.

The events aim to encourage people to supporting local businesses at the heart of or community.

They will run on Friday, November 26 from 4pm to 8pm and Saturday, November 27 from10am to 2.30pm.

The event will feature Black Pearl Creole kitchen takeaways and Connie and Mike's Highland Hospice cafe.

It aims to offer a great range of Christmas shopping ideas under one roof.
