Missing Fife man may be in the Highlands, Police Scotland officers believe; Ricky Smith, from Markinch, Glenrothes, was last seen on January 26

A MISSING Fife man may be in the Highlands, police looking for him believe.

Ricky Smith was last seen by his family at his home in Markinch on January 26, but has not been in contact with them since.

"Ricky has access to a black coloured Vauxhall Zafira, registration DU10 NZM," said a police spokesman.

"Information suggests that the 51-year-old may also be frequenting the Highlands area.

"Ricky is described as black, 6ft 1in and of large build with short dark hair. It is unknown what clothing he was wearing at the time."

Anyone who may have seen Mr Smith or who has information on his whereabouts, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 3368 of February 5.
