Police Scotland is appealing for information after attempts were made to break into a van on Firthview Terrace between 18.30 on Thursday and 09.30 on Friday.

Officers are asking the public if they were in the area and “noticed anybody acting suspiciously” – and if so to get in touch quoting the incident number 1975 of 10/03/2025.

Police said: “We're appealing for information after attempts were made to break in to a van parked on Firthview Terrace, Alness between 18:00 Thursday 06 March and 09:30 Friday 07 March 2025.

“Were you in the area and noticed anybody acting suspiciously? If so, please get in touch via 101 or online on our website, quoting incident 1975 of 10/03/2025”.
