Police enquiries continue into four-vehicle crash in the far north

Enquiries are continuing into a four vehicle road crash near Forss on Friday which resulted in three people being taken to hospital.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called around 2.55pm on Friday, August 6, 2021 following the report of a four vehicle road crash on the A836 between Reay and Thurso.

“Emergency services attended and three people were taken by ambulance to Caithness Hospital. All have since been discharged.

"The road was closed for a short time and reopened around 4.55pm. Enquiries in to the cause of the crash are continuing."
