Police Scotland launches appeal over theft of numerous dirt bike motorcycles and a mountain bike in Muir of Ord area of the Highlands

Four dirt bike motorcycles and a mountain bike were stolen from a home in the Muir of Ord area early this morning.

Police have appealed for information following the theft in the “early hours” of Friday.

Police said the mountain bike was a Whyte full suspension men’s mountain bike, which was green in colour with red graphics. No descriptions were given by police for the dirt bikes.

“Enquiries are ongoing and we would urge local businesses and residents to be mindful of their security and to report any suspicious activity or persons to the police,” said a police spokesperson.

“Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting ‘incident number 0324 of May 10’, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
