Police have issued an appeal for information following the reported theft of trees from an area of Ross-shire woodland.

The incident happened on Saturday January 23 in woodland next to Riverford Autos in Conon Bridge.

A number of trees were cut down and wood removed during the afternoon.

It is believed a Luton or box-type van may have been used.
