Police are appealing for the public’s assistance to trace a 16-year- old girl reported missing from Dingwall area.

Lara Snowie was last seen around 7pm on Sunday on Docharty Brae in Dingwall.

She has not been seen or been in contact with anyone since and concern is growing for her welfare.

She is described as being around 5ft 6ins tall, white with a local accent and a shaved head. At the time she went missing she is believed to have been wearing a grey puffer jacket, purple Nike leggings, white Nike trainers and yellow bobble hat with pompom.

Inspector Goskirk from Dingwall Police Station said: “As the time goes on we are becoming very concerned for Lara’s welfare and we are keen to find her as soon as possible so that we know she is safe.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Lara, or has any information on her whereabouts, to get in touch with officers immediately.”

Those with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 3369 of 4 April 2021
