Police in Alness hunt intoxicated attacker who assaulted a wheelchair user in the Crawl Park area of the town

Police in Alness are appealing for information after a man in a wheelchair was assaulted in the town.

Around 12.45pm on Sunday an intoxicated lone man approached the victim and attacked him.

A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed it was in the Crawl Park area of Alness and no injuries were sustained by the victim.

Anyone with information in relation to this incident can contact Police Scotland on 101 or via the website.
