VANDALS are being hunted by police after a canopy was "extensively damaged" outside a Ross-shire social club.

The damage occurred at Invergordon Social Club earlier this week.

A police spokesman said: "Between 8pm on Monday, June 7 and 9pm on Tuesday, June 8, extensive damage has been caused to the canopy roof of the club.

"Police would be keen to speak with anyone who has information that may assist."

Those with information should call police on 101, quoting "incident 3261 of June 8".
