UPDATE (4.30pm) - Traffic Scotland has confirmed that the road has now been cleared.

Traffic Scotland has confirmed that police and emergency services have been called to a three-vehicle collision at Cromarty Bridge.

The incident is understood to have taken place some time before 3.40pm.

In a short statement, they confirmed that lanes are still open, and that police are directing traffic at the scene.

A spokesperson for Traffic Scotland said: “We received a report at 3.40pm of a three-vehicle collision at Cromarty Bridge.

“Police are directing traffic and emergency services remain at the scene at this time.”

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
