Police appeal for information after woman followed in popular Dingwall woodland

Concerns have been raised in Dingwall after a teenage woman was followed into a popular Dingwall beauty spot.

Highland and Islands Police Division issued an appeal after the woman was followed into the area around Maggie's Wood at 10.35pm on Tuesday April 27.

A spokeswoman said: "Police in Dingwall are appealing for information after a woman, aged 19, was followed by two men within the area of Maggie's Wood at around 10.35pm on Tuesday April 27.

"The woman was alone at the time and was able to return home safely.

"One man is described as white, around 6ft, of heavy build with no or very short hair. The other man is described as white, around 5ft 5in, of slim build with short hair."
